Patio Repair
This client’s patio was severely damaged by a buried storm drain that directed runoff from the roadway toward their home. Our crews uncovered the storm drain, stabilized the slope, and restored the patio.
Grading With Concrete Flume
We started by grading the front and back of this property. Our team installed a concrete flume and a 24-inch corrugated metal pipe (CMP) to outfall into a vegetated area. We installed a turf reinforcement mat (TRM) in the channel and outfall protection on the upstream and downstream of the pipe.
Dry Streambed & Catch Basins
We installed a dry streambed along with catch basins to receive and remove ponding water within this large Townhome Community. Our team also installed turf reinforcement matting (TRM) in common areas to direct sheet flow toward the drain under a walkway. This client was so impressed by our expertise that they complimented our work in two, 5-star Google Reviews in November 2025!!
Streambed Installation
Our team removed a dry stream bed created with rip rap. The client was concerned with this material being close to the pool and tennis area where children in the community played and spent time. Our team removed the rip rap, installed a drainage system using catch basins and placed sod in the area where rock once existed.
Detention Pond Cleaning
Our team cleaned and restored this detention pond to ensure it complies with environmental and regulatory standards. This maintenance restores capacity and filtration function.
Compromised Slope Repair
We graded the area to help control storm runoff. Our team backfilled the area, added rip rap and geo-textile fabric, and stabilized the area with native vegetation.
Stabilized Compromised Slope
We stabilized this compromised slope, added additional fill material, and installed jute matting. Our professional team then added mulch with an environmental adhesive to secure and preserve this beautiful slope for several years to come.

We stabilized this slope near a detention pond by adding rip rap and jute matting for long-term durability and erosion prevention.
Construction Entrance
Our team installed geotextile fabric and crushed stone onto a graded surface. This was a vital part of the erosion control process during our client’s remodeling project. This Best Management Practice (BMP) ensures compliance with environmental regulations by preventing construction vehicles from tracking mud, dirt, and debris onto public roads.
Ponding Porch Solution
Our team corrected ponding issues occurring under a client’s screened porch. The team removed several feet of concrete and set several catch basins along with a trench drain to receive and remove standing water.
Failed CMP Replacement
Our team replaced a failed Corrugated Metal Pipe (CMP) that had rusted throughout the structure. The CMP was upsized to handle additional storm drainage from the area. The previous, ineffective installation prevented the pipe from reaching its shelf-life.
Streambed Armoring
This client was concerned about increasing damage from a stream that continued to erode their backyard’s slope. Our team stabilized the slope and applied rip rap with a geo-textile fabric to correct this erosion issue.
Trash Pit Excavation
The EMS crew excavated a trash pit in an area that this townhome community uses to transport heavy equipment. Debris and organic matter were removed, and several tons of clean fill (uncontaminated, inorganic material) were placed back into the area and compacted. We added several 8-10-inch lifts (dirt) to ensure uniform density throughout the entire depth and prevent future settling and structural failure.
